Modification Mechanism and Uniaxial Fatigue Performances of A356.2 Alloy Treated by Al-Sr-La Composite Refinement-Modification Agent

Modification mechanism and uniaxial fatigue properties of A356.2 alloy treated by Al-6Sr-7La traditional Al-5Ti-1B/Al-10Sr (hereinafter refers to alloy) were investigated constant stress amplitude method. Microstructure, dislocation Si twinning the alloys studied thermal analysis, scanning electron microscopy (SEM) transmission (TEM). The results showed that possesses better refining modification effect than Al-5Ti-1B/Al-10Sr. Meanwhile, are higher alloy, this is mainly owing has more twins in eutectic lower twin spacing. In addition, density nanophases formed on faces La-rich clusters appear at multiple intersections. Stacking faults entrapped appeared growing faces. Impurity induced (IIT) plane re-entrant edge (TPRE) valid for which important mechanical optimization alloy.
